Iceland held on to their 2020 artist Daði Freyr & Gagnamagnið for the 2021 contest. Good plan as Think About Things was the biggest hit of the year chart-wise. It also clocked the most streams on Spotify.

On Daði's website you can find cool links to a virtual visit in your own home, a computer game and a shop with goodies like socks, mugs, pins and stickers. All while s(t)ocks last of course.
Unfortunately Covid struck and the bandið had to watch the contest from their hotel rooms.
An earlier recorded rehearsal was used in both the semi and the final.
A remix by Canadian DJ duo Chromeo is released on May 21.

Daði Freyr got his 2020 Eurovision ticket on his second attempt. In 2017 he entered with Hvað með það? (Is this love?). He ended 2nd behind Svala's Paper but he was a good sport and made a remix for her. This was released as a digital track.
